This would eliminate for one year the payment of all social security contributions by employers for newly-hired workers aged over 50 years. Furthermore, in their second year of employment the contribution level for these workers would be limited to 15% of their earnings. This incentive would also be extended to the jobcentres long-term unemployed hired in certain disadvantaged regions and towns.A further incentive would apply to those returning from parental leave.
